EINDER is a collaboration between Studio Boris Acket, Making Waves and Goonie Crew, brought together by a shared connection to Amsterdam’s club culture.
Studio Boris Acket and Making Waves first crossed paths while sharing a creative workspace in Amsterdam-West. Over the years, their paths continued to intersect through music, art and nightlife, fuelled by a longstanding appreciation for each other’s work. Creating something together for Amsterdam Dance Event had been a shared ambition for years. With EINDER, that ambition finally takes shape.
They are joined by production partner Goonie Crew, with whom Making Waves has previously brought a number of successful events to life, including ZeeZout Festival.
At the heart of the collaboration is a shared desire to create experiences that honour club culture: spaces where people come together and time becomes irrelevant. EINDER brings artists, musicians, dancers, industry insiders and enthusiasts into the same space, inviting them to become part of something larger than themselves. The result is another experience that can’t be fully predicted, planned or repeated. Just the way we like it.

Boris Acket, a contemporary artist and composer, works with sound, light, and motion, exploring the interplay between control and surrender in the (natural) world. Initially rooted in electronic music and club culture, Acket‘s practice evolved to challenge the boundaries between sound art, music, and performance space, often blurring distinctions between exhibitions and club experiences.
His recent shift towards recontextualizing nature in art spaces was influenced by encounters with acoustic ecologist Gordon Hempton and sociologist Riyan van den Born in 2020. Acket‘s work now offers sanctuary and ritualistic encounters, while also hinting at dystopian narratives of our future interactions with the (natural) world.
His works and performances have been presented at Mutek MX, Milan Salone del Mobil, Paris Fashion Week, Dark Matter Berlin, Lost Art Festival Berlin, Stedelijk Museum, NXT Museum, Lowlands, STRP, Holland Festival, Het Hem, Fiber Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, De School, Down The Rabbit Hole, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, Van Gogh Museum, Frame Lab & DGTL Festival.
Making Waves is one of the leading event organizations in the Netherlands. We maintain a unique position, operating simultaneously in two fields: the dance industry and the theatre sector. Within these fields, we own a variety of brands, including Cinema in Concert, By the Creek, ZeeZout, and Ohm.
As Making Waves, we create innovative experiences that live in the space between. We take insights from both industries and apply them in unexpected ways, creating boundary-blending concepts that go beyond our regular events.
