For the first time in two years, Elias Mazian returns to the stage with his live band. The DJ, producer and singer songwriter marks a special one-off performance at the Markthal during Amsterdam Dance Event, staged within Einder, the kinetic light and fabric installation longtime friend Boris Acket created, inspired by Mazian’s debut album ‘ Vrij Van Dromen’. Mazian and Acket premierd Einder together at Het HEM, translating Mazian’s warm, melancholic songs into a living canvas of light and movement. Five years on, Mazian assembles his live band once more to bring that music back to life, for one night only.
Elias Mazian is a DJ, producer, songwriter, singer and radio host. House music often forms the foundation of his sets, but never their boundary. Soul, pop, techno, jungle and unexpected classics may all appear within the same musical journey.
Away from the dance floor, he approaches music with the same emotional openness. His Dutch-language songs make space for desire, melancholy, connection and doubt.
